It seems that director Nikhil Advani is aiming for mission impossible. He is planning to have eight actresses of Bollywood in the same film. In this industry when a director is disturbed to tolerate the tantrums thrown by two actresses if they are sharing the screen space, Nikhil is planning to have as many as eight divas form Bollywood at the same time. Why?
Nikhil plans to bring Madhuri Dixit, Shabana Azmi, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Rani Mukerjee, Preity Zinta, Deepika Padukone and Genelia D’Souza in his upcoming film which he wants to start next year. If everything goes well, he will do the project next year.
If this really happens then this would be first film form Bollywood to boats of all female cast. At present Nikhil is working on his untitled venture. A source says he is working on the script of the film. “Not much is known about the film yet but Nikhil has indicated it will pay homage to the Indian woman and trace womanhood in all its hues,” he adds.
If rumors are to be believed then this film in question will be depicting the essence of Indian woman through four generations where Madhuri, Shabana and Dimple will represent one era while Karisma will define the second. Rani and Preity will feature in the third segment of the story while Deepika and Genelia would stand for the GenNow woman.
Nikhil is excited to have Madhuri in his film as her comeback was much in discussion ever since she had announced that she would be returning to India to settle in Mumbai with her husband and kids.
On the other hand, this cast has also created curiosity because Madhuri would be seen with Shabana after 14 years of gap. They both did ‘Mrityudand’ together. Madhuri and Dimple worked in ‘Ram Lakhan’ in 1988. Madhuri and Karisma did ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. Other actresses have either never worked with each other or do not share a good relationship with each other.
